Oh this might make me cry.....
On Saturday, I bought Jacob home with me because he wanted to go shopping. After shopping we went out to eat.
Let me set the scene for you. Jeremy and I were sitting on side of the booth with Jacob on the other. We ordered and were done eating.
The waitress (who's name was Promise???) brought over the check and I jokingly said "Just give it to him!" and pointed to Jacob.
She said "Oh, isn't that nice, taking your parents out for supper" and walked away!
I almost started crying and laughing at the same time. I know he is younger but do I LOOK that old to be his mom??? Ahhh......
I tried to find a picture but to no avail! You will just have to believe me.
Before Jacob came home with me, we doing things at my mom's house and found my dad's old Vietnam Super 8 films. They look something like this:
There was one just from Vietnam and then another with my parent's wedding on. We also found some talking tapes that he would record and send to his parents. I found a video place that will make a DVD from the Super 8's and a CD of the talking tapes. I am so excited. It is only going to cost about $125 dollars. I am thrilled that someplace will do that and to hear my dad's voice again means the world to me!!! I can't wait for the week to be over and they call me!!!!!
