Many Things!!!

LOTS OF THINGS TO POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jeremy's brother, Jim and his wife, Amy and kids, Jonathon, Jared, Katie, and Jacob, recently came to visit from Florida. We had a great time at Laurie's one night!!

This is Laurie's big, fat cat, Miss Kitty....She will jump from the couch to the bookcase and she wathces everything and everyone.

Laurie and Katie, practicing baton twirling

Jared playing the Wii

Jen and Deb play softball, so last Monday I went to watch them play in Holcombe

Jen up to bat

Deb up to bat

A day at the Circus

We recently went on a Field Trip to the Shrine Circus in Eau Claire. Here are some pictures from the day

And finally, the best thing!!!

Recently, my grandma passed away. We are in the process of trying to empty out the house. I have gotten soemthing from her house. The cedar chest is something I always remember my Grandma having. So, we put this at the end of the bed and I think it looks awesome!!!

This picture I was actully in the closet, sitting in the clothes basket to get a good picture.

I also added curtains to our bedroom. It is hard to see in the pictures, because of the sun, but I love them. It doens't keep out much sun, but it makes our bedroom more homey.

From the Mouth of a Four Year Old.....

I was watching a co-worker's four year old today as she did some cleaning at work.....

CONVERSION ONE:
G: Why did you marry Jeremy?
Cara: Because I love him
G: Why did you have not real flowers at your wedding?
Cara: Because they were cheaper
G: Oh...

CONVERSASION TWO: (on the way home from Walmart)
Cara: Look at those clouds, G
G: They are white and not white
Cara: They are kinda gray too
G: Do you know who lives behind the clouds?
Cara: No, do the birds
G: No, giants live behind clouds.
Cara: Oh no....that is not good
G: Do you know what Giants like to eat?
Cara: No
G: Little people and teachers.
Cara: Oh no, that is not good.
G: Well, giants like little people and school, and they will eat them all up!!!

Ohh goodness....It was very interesting....hope you enjoy the tales of a four year old!!

The Skies

So, after a week of weird, scary weather, the skies have finally turned to a color I have never seen. The picutes will say everything.

And this is what my husband does every night at about 730 PM. I must have this ability to make him from asleep right after supper.....what a talent I have!!

This is a Dreadful One.....

Okay, everyone knows we got 10 fish and one snail a few weeks ago. Everyone also knows that I can't keep fish alive. Well, folks we are down to 4 fish and 0 snails. I claim NO responsibilty for the death of fish. I do have to say though, I don't think we picked the smartest of fish. At least three of the fish got themselves wrapped around the filter part of the tank and then they got sucked to it and couldn't get themselves off. I am at the point where i don't even look at the fish now.:)

I repeat: I claim NO responsibilty for the death of the fish!!!

Maybe we should get plastic fish to put in the tank!!!

Our Much Needed Vacation

Welcome to Jellystone Water Resort!! We made it with no major problems. I say this because I am the worst back seat driver. Luckily for Jeremy, I bought a book with and keep my eyes on that the whole time:) These are villas that you can rent. There are probably over 100 of them. All of them of log cabin type. Just image what it cost to build those.
The back side of the resort
Our view from the window
Same view, just at night. I wish my camera worked better on this shot. All of the villas were lit with lights. It was a spectular sight.

Two of the four water slides. All four of them came out of the water park and then went back inside. I don't do water slides and Jeremy wasn't feeling it either. The blue and red ones you could ride down on a tube while the green and yellow one you sat down.

Yogi Bear's Golf Course

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, that is MY hole in one!!!

Jeremy trying to get a hole in one, but it never happened!!!

The scorecard..it appears Jeremy "forgot" to keep score after he realized that he couldn't win. I have video of him admitting that I won, but it upload today!!

Our room....beautiful log furniture....if we had a larger vehicle and wouldn't gotten trouble, I am pretty sure that it would be in our bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Our Jacuzzi...so refreshing

I think that this was the most wonderful thing all weekend. Before the game, it started to rain and a rainbow came out. Then pretty soon it became a double rainbow!!! I didn't realize until I put the pictures on the computer that I had captured a bird flying by the rainbow. Truly Amazing!!!

We went to "Deal or No Deal" at the park on Saturday night. All the money went to Camp Sunshine. It is a camp held for children with cancer. In the game alone, I am going out on a limb and saying that they raised over $2000. It was amazing. You purchased a ticket and if they picked our ticket, you got to go and play. Winifred was the host(in the boa). You picked a case and the other behind the girl with the GAP sweatshirt had something else. You had to pick one of them. Whatever the person didn't pick was auctioned off. The bidding usually started at 100 bucks and just continued. It was amazing!!!!! People were having lots of fun!!! Jeremy and I diden't get picked though.

You always have to have one shot of the two of you!!!

We had a great time!! Something that I would love to do when we have children. The waterpark was so much fun!!!!

Here is the pool. We splurged and got the king jauzzi room. I told Jeremy I probably won't even leave the room;)
Have a great weekend. Updates as soon as we get home!!

24 hours and no casualty (well......)

Here is our new fish tank. Now, everyone will know that I am NOT in charge in the fish. I have the ability to kill very healthy fish in one day or less. But, as of this post, all 10 fish are alive and well. The snail on the other hand, I don't know about. Check out the video and see for yourself.

This black moorhead is "ABE". When I was growing up, we had fish at home. My brother Chad had a fish just like this and it was Abe. I thought it is nice to have another one:)
All other fish are unnamed at this time. Maybe when things settle down at work, we will have time to name them!!!
The Snail Video!!!

24 hours and still going STRONG!!!
