Christmas Is Over...........

......yet I have not posted anything about it. Man, I suck at this...... :(

Back at Thanksgiving time, we had a medical scare with Jeremy's father. He went in for surgery to remove some kidney stones, but ended in the hospital for about 2 1/2 weeks. He was in ICU in 2 different hospitals.....it was a very scary time....and it brings back a lot of memories for me as my dad was in the same hospital about 20 years old; even on the same rehab floor.....lots of memories! Thankfully, all is well now and he is back home and is continuing to improve.

Then we move to The SNOWSTORM OF THE YEAR:

I don't need to say more about this!!!!!

Next, we move on to Christmas:

We hosted Christmas Eve this year for Jeremy's side of the family....it was my first time over making a turkey....It turned out great.....I only had one injury.....steam from boiling potatoes while draining...OUCH!

And apparently I haven't import the pictures, so this is the only one you get.

It was a great time for everyone!

We rang in the New Year with a whole lot of nothing. The weather sucked and so we didn't do anything. And I think we were both sleeping before 2011 was offically here.

January 7th bought sad news as we learned that my uncle passed away in Arizona. He and my aunt are "snowbirds" and travel to AZ every year. It was sudden and unexpected and very difficult time.

This the only good picture I have....Uncle Cliff will be deeply missed by many.....including his wife, 3 boys, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I was always his "Tweety Pie" For what ever reason, he had always called me that and it is something special for me!

I am hoping for a very wonderful 2011. I need some thing good to happen this year. I am willing it to happen! My wish is that I would be able to get pregnant and have a healthy baby. I know that there are other people close to my heart that are wishing and praying for the same thing(you know who you are;) My other thing is that I want to update this more often.....even if is boring regular life stuff.......it would be fun to look back in a few years!!!!

When I was in college, I was introduced to a great group of girls. We all come from all different backgrounds and areas of MN and WI. We have continued to be friends for 8 years. We have been there for each other for weddings, parties, sicknesses, laughter, and sadly death. It is amazing how close we continue to be! We try to see each other as much as possible, but sometimes we go up to 6 months. But this year has been a lot better!!! We have seen each other a lot and get to again this weekend!!!! So excited!!!!

October Fun!

October was a busy month~~Lots and lots of things going on and lots and lots of miles put on the car!!! We love being busy, but it is nice to relax every now and again!

This next gift was something Kristen, Theresa and I made for her. It is a scrapbook with 50 layouts for a whole year. (First holidays, first tooth, etc) She LOVED it!!!

It was a lot of work but it is so nice to have!

October has been a lot of fun and we have been super busy. I did have my 30th birthday too! But I didnt' have my camera with:( Here's to a great November!!!! :)

Show us your Life-Master Bedrooms

I thought it would be cool to do this fun project that is on Kelly's Korner -- Show Us Your Life! This week is Master bedrooms. We don't have anything spectualar. I want love something more grand for furniture, but we just make do with what we have. I don't have a lot of pictures, but still some!

After we painted it Yellow and added some drapes. The drapes are blackout ones and they are wonderful in the summer!!! They are a little too long; I have to find someone to hem them just a bit. Double closets: love!!!

Repeat After Me.....

We went to my brother's last night and I had asked my mom to bring me an ice cream pail because I didn't have one and I did one for school.

My mom gave me some salami cheese because, well I love it and she went to the Cheese Factory and got some and bought it with her. I put it in the pail to bring it home. My mom also wanted to look at my Cri.cut cartidage. So, I put that in the pail too to bring it home.

It was late when we got home and I told him to bring the pail in from the car and put the cheese away. And I would get the other stuff from the car in the morning.

I just went to the fridge to get a soda and I see this:

What do we have in here?

Oh, yeah, he put the cheese and the CARTIDGE in the fridge!!!!!

HAHA!!!!
All kidding aside, I love my husband! He is a great guy who puts up with a lot with me!! I wouldn't trade him for anything!!!!!

Scrapping Weekend #3

Aimee and I tried to plan in May to scrapbook at least three times this summer. We actually did it--sorta of. I went to her house in June. She came to my mom's house in July, but there we worked on my brother's baby book/scrapbook for his graduation in May 2011. We made #3 in August. Aimee came to my house for the weekend. We started early Saturday morning, but I didn't take these pictures till late into the evening!

Yep, we were winding donw the night/morning! These two pictures (above and below) were taken at 130AM!!!! We look freakin' fabulous, don't we?!?!?! Then we stayed up and talked till almost 230AM!!! We had lots of girl talk!


This is the way to scrapbook and surf at the same time!!!!!
We had a great time and I finally finished our Honeymoon album!! Now, I just have to journal on the pictures and it will be all done. Only 2 1/2 years later!!!
